The Downing-Gross Cultural Arts Center Advisory Board is comprised of Newport News citizens and community leaders with a passion for and understanding of the Arts.  The purpose of the Advisory Board is to advise city staff in the management of the Downing-Gross Cultural Arts Center.  The Board meets at noon in the Executive Conference Room of the Downing-Gross Cultural Arts Center on the fourth Thursday of each month.  Meetings follow an agenda and are open to the public.  For information on membership or if you have specific questions, please contact Kay Sumner, Executive Director of the Downing-Gross Cultural Arts Center, by email at ksumner@nngov.com and/or by phone at 757-247-8950.
