Downing-Gross Cultural Arts Center Internship Program
The Downing-Gross Cultural Arts Center is pleased to accept interns from local Colleges for semester, winter, and summer internships. We offer a wide variety of Internship Possibilities which include:
- Art
- Business Administration
- Dance
- Graphic Art
- Marketing
- Museums
- Music
- Theater
- Tech/Front of House/Back of House
- Special Events
- Studio Art
- Web Design
- Youth Programs
Along with the internship requirements for the College, an intern is required to fulfill a requirement at our facility which will include:
- Attendance at certain special events
- Attendance of several shows
- Working a shift in our box office & Gallery Spaces
This requirement allows for the intern to have a well rounded understanding of the building and its function in the community and all requirements are worked around the student's schedule.
We are currently accepting applications for individuals interested in applying to be an intern. Along with the application below please send the time frame in which you are applying to intern, the internship requirements for your college, and the number of hours a week you are able to intern.
Deadlines for Applications:
Fall Semester: July 15, 2010
Spring Semester: December 1, 2010
Summer: April 15, 2011
Winter: November 15, 2010
