BE YOU

SHONN BROWN JR.

Shonn is a native of Newport News, Virginia and has been drawing before he could write! Diagnosed with Autism around age 3 he was not able to express and communicate as well as other children his age, so one way he would express his self was with his art. Art has helped him open his self-up more to the world and advocate in the Autism community. Other activities he participates in are Karate, Special Olympics Gymnastics, basketball, track, and he has done modeling. He also enjoys recording short films and likes classical and 80’s music. He encourages and believes in inspiring others to be great at being themselves.

Shonn’s main passion is drawing. He likes to use his art to promote inclusion. He created Through His Eyes LLC. in High School. He has been participating in art shows with honorable mentions, has had several one-man art shows, done Murals, he is a co- author and has illustrated books for children. He has a shirt line, done logos for companies, has an art gallery, teaches art class, and just enjoys all aspects of art. Art is his life!
